Shortcode & block
Two shortcodes. One block. No copy-pasting HTML.
Set a default venue slug once in Settings → Carte Menu, then drop either shortcode anywhere — or use the “Carte Menu or Booking Button” block from the inserter if you'd rather point and click.
- [carte_menu] — the live published menu, always current
- [carte_booking] — a “Book online” button that opens the booking widget
- Override the venue, menu ID, booking type or resource per instance
- The block wraps both, with the same options in the sidebar

Live on your site in three steps.

Set your venue slug
Settings → Carte Menu — paste the venue slug from your Carte dashboard. This becomes the default for every shortcode and block.

Add the shortcode or block
Drop [carte_menu] or [carte_booking] into a page, or insert the “Carte Menu or Booking Button” block. Publish — it's live.
